Warehouse Supervisor

Well established temperature-controlled storage and distribution organisation requires a Warehouse Supervisor to join their expanding team in Wolverhampton.

Previous experience in supervising warehouse operative is essential to fulfil this position of Warehouse Supervisor. Within this role you will be offered free car parking and competitive rates of pay. Offered on a temporary to permanent position, this role of Warehouse Supervisor is available for immediate start.

Duties of Warehouse Supervisor:

• Hold FLT/MHE standard operating licences
• Supervise and work alongside cold store staff, ensuring that all staff under your remit are inducted, trained and monitored in safe working practices
• Pack and scan orders with the goal to increase efficiency, profitably and customer satisfaction
• Managing cold store activities to meet customers’ requirements by receiving customer goods
• Ensuring that the company polices regarding Quality, Environment, Heath and Safety are maintained

Skills and attributes required by Warehouse Supervisor:

• FLT/MHE standard operating licences
• Must be PC literate and able to demonstrate good numeracy skills
• Previous experience of in-house Warehouse Management systems
• Previous experience of supervising warehouse operatives
• High attention to detail
• Food industry experience preferable

Location: Wolverhampton

Hours of work: (Saturday-Wednesday) – 6am-2pm

Rate of pay: £15 per hour

Contract: Temporary to permanent
