What is the role of a Team Leader?

A Team Leader at Fiege must guide the team towards clear goals while embodying the company’s values — professionalism, motivation, positive attitude, and co‑creation of a respectful, friendly, high‑performance workplace.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Communicating goals and deadlines to team members
  • Planning workloads and delegating tasks
  • Creating a productive work environment for the team using gamification, trust and other appropriate strategies
  • Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
  • Assisting with hiring and training employees
  • Assisting with the daily operation of the organisation
  • Performing customer service functions, including interacting with customers
  • Monitoring data flow in system operations.
  • Providing teams with information about recent developments, programmes and previous shifts.
  • Supporting with daily briefings and sharing KPI’s with employees
  • Supporting with Health and Safety on Site and ensuring employees adhere to the policy.

What are the skills required for a Team Leader?

  • As a Team Leader you will lead by example making sure the team have everything they need, so the shift runs smoothly.
  • Responsible for resolving any issues that arise during the shift.
  • The ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges.
  • A positive can-do attitude and promoting the organisations valves and culture.
  • Previous experience essential – at least one year in similar role.

Benefits of a Team Leader:

  • Salary £31,200 working 40 hours a week on shift rotation. Two main shifts 10AM to 18:00 and 18:00 to 02:00AM.
