Warehouse Team Leader - Slough

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join a fast-paced E-Commerce operation based in Slough. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy warehouse environment and is looking to progress within a growing business.

This role will see you leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of productivity, organisation and safety.

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee all warehouse activities including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and operational efficiency
• Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Train and support new and existing team members on warehouse processes and safety procedures
• Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Resolve order discrepancies and warehouse-related issues promptly and professionally
• Liaise with customer service teams regarding customer enquiries and feedback

• Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience within a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 3 years warehouse experience preferred
• Experience within E-Commerce or high-volume order fulfilment environments advantageous
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid FLT licence required
• Dangerous Goods certification preferred but not essential
