Water Hygiene Engineer – Reading
Up to £34,000 DOE + benefits

Are you a Water Hygiene Engineer looking for a role that offers genuine career progression and the chance to expand your technical skills? My client, a respected leader in environmental compliance services, is seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join their Reading-based team.

This is a regional role, so the successful applicant will need to live within a commutable distance of the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out temperature monitoring, outlet flushing, and disinfection works in line with ACOP L8 & HSG 274

  • Performing closed system sampling and analysis

  • Servicing and maintaining closed systems to ensure water quality compliance

  • TMV servicing and replacements

  • Tank inspections and producing condition reports

  • Supporting remedial works as required

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within the water hygiene industry, with hands-on knowledge of closed systems. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing is highly desirable, along with the ability to work independently, keep accurate records and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in water hygiene engineering

  • Proven closed system sampling and servicing experience

  • Knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274

  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (or equivalent) preferred

  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills

  • Full UK driving licence

Package:

  • Up to £34,000 basic
