Water Hygiene Technician

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Water Hygiene Technician to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Water Hygiene Technician who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Water Hygiene Technician, will be responsible for:

• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain our customer's waterlog books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• To take a variety of water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with company procedures.
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.
• Maintain adequate stocks of chemicals and materials as necessary.
• Ensure that any equipment that you are responsible for is properly maintained.

To be successful for this Water Hygiene Technician role you must have:

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment is essential.  
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.   
• The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively is required in every part of this role.
