Location: South & West London, Surrey, Sussex & Middlesex
About the Role
One of our clients is looking for an experienced Water Supply Pipe (WSP) Lead Engineer to join their expanding team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take the lead on water supply pipe works, including leak detection, repairs, and full installations using moling and trenching methods. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality work while supporting and guiding engineers on-site.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading water supply pipe works across residential properties
- Carrying out leak detection, spot repairs, and full pipe installations
- Ensuring all work meets current regulations and passes inspection first time
- Supporting and coordinating jobs from the wider contracting team
- Delivering excellent customer service on every job
- Working safely in line with H&S policies, RAMS, and company procedures
What They’re Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (or higher) / City & Guilds Level 2
- Proven experience in water supply pipe repairs and installations
Desirable:
- WIAPS knowledge or accreditation
- Experience with moling and trenching
- CAT & Genny trained
- Streetworks (Level 1 or 2)
- Shoring and excavation experience
You’ll also need:
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
