Pay: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (DAY SHIFTS)
PAY: £19.00 - £22.00 per hour (NIGHT SHIFTS)
Shift/Hours: DAYS - 07:30 - 16:00
Shift/Hours: NIGHTS - 18:00 - 04:30
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

This is a well-established engineering and fabrication business specialising in structural steelwork, working on heavy-duty projects requiring high-quality welding standards.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy workshop environment. This role will involve working on structural steel components, carrying out multi-run welds on thicker materials.
- MIG welding on structural steel
- Multi-run welding on thicker gauge materials
- Butt welds and heavy fabrication work
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
- Working to production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
About You
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder within structural steel
- Experience with multi-run welds and thicker materials
- Ability to carry out butt welds to a high standard
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Reliable and consistent work history
- Experience in similar environments (e.g. heavy fabrication / structural steel)
