Welders (Solid Wire)

Our client is seeking 3 skilled Welders with Solid Wire experience for a contract role in East Kilbride. This is a short term contract offering approx. 4-6 weeks of work on a structural steel project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using solid wire on structural steel components
- Ensure high quality welds in compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with the site team to maintain project timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Job Requirements:
- Experience in welding within the marine industry or similar sectors
- Proficiency in solid wire welding techniques
- Understanding of structural steel projects and their requirements
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and protocols
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, from 0600 to 1730, with additional overtime on Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
