Are you a confident, Welsh-speaking education professional with a passion for supporting young people? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Torfaen.

The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain further experience in education or build a long-term career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
• Support students in completing assigned work
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Uphold school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
• Previous experience working with young people (e.g. schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for the Welsh language and education
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to provide two professional references
