Window Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for a Window Fabricator to join our client’s busy manufacturing team based in Witham on a temp to perm basis.

This is a hands-on factory role offering the opportunity to learn multiple stages of the window manufacturing process within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Previous manufacturing or window fabrication experience would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate through various departments involved in the window manufacturing process
• Work on the hanging line as part of the production team
• Learn and understand different window furniture options and product ranges
• Support the stores department with window pack preparation
• Assist with general factory duties and additional tasks as required
• Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
  (45 minutes total break time at 9:00am and 12:00pm)
• Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  (same break structure)

Pay & Benefits

• Starting salary of £12.71 per hour
• Pay increases available upon permanent employment and dependent on experience
• Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days per year, increasing annually up to a maximum of 25 days
• Eligibility to join the Employee Owned Trust after one year of employment
• Additional birthday day off after one year of employment
