4-Day Working Week | Long-Term Opportunity | Permanent Prospects
Are you looking for a role where hard work is recognised, training is provided, and there is a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career?
We're recruiting for a leading manufacturer in Hull that supplies high-quality PVC-U and aluminium products to some of the UK's largest modular building and leisure companies.
This is not just another production role. You'll be joining a business with a strong order book, modern facilities, and a reputation for developing its people from within.
Whether you have experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, caravan production, modular buildings, or you're simply practical and eager to learn, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
What You'll Be Doing
Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll help manufacture products that are used across the UK in modular buildings, holiday homes, and commercial projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing and assembling PVC-U windows, doors and frames
- Fitting locks, handles, hinges and other components
- Glazing, beading and gasketing products
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
- Supporting different areas of production as required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
No two days are exactly the same, and you'll have the opportunity to learn different skills across the production process.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in attitude just as much as experience.
You'll be:
- Reliable and committed
- Hands-on and practical
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to learn new skills
- Quality focused with good attention to detail
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Experience within manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, joinery, modular buildings, caravans, window fabrication or similar environments would be highly advantageous.
Experience using tools such as drills, saws, press brakes or other machinery may attract a higher starting rate depending on your background.
