Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Wood CNC Machinist on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a permanent or permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate Wood CNC machinery safely and efficiently
• Set and adjust CNC machines for production runs
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
• Manufacture wooden components to precise measurements and specifications
• Carry out quality checks on finished products
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment where required
• Maintain machinery and report faults when necessary
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Work independently or within a team to meet production deadlines

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience within joinery or woodworking environments
• Machine setting and tool changing experience
• Sanding and finishing components where required

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Wood CNC machinery
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Good organisational and time management skills
• CNC programming experience advantageous

Working Pattern & Benefits

• Hours: Monday – Friday
