Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Workplace Host to join a growing onsite team within a large corporate suite on a landlord-owned campus, supporting a capacity of 600–700 people.

This role offers an excellent working environment with access to on-site amenities including a restaurant, gym, and regular events such as craft fairs, markets, and street vendors. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a professional, welcoming, and well-functioning workplace for both employees and visitors.

The Workplace Host will provide hands-on, entry-level facilities management support, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly. This is a varied and interactive role suited to an individual who enjoys being visible on site, engaging with people, and proactively addressing workplace needs.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and approachable individual to provide facilities management support in a corporate environment. The role requires a hands-on approach, flexibility, and a strong focus on delivering a high-quality workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day facilities management (FM) support across the site
  • Cover FM duties during team absences to ensure continuity of service
  • Maintain and service on-site barista coffee machines, including stocking, cleaning, and unloading
  • Manage dishwashers and ensure general kitchen areas are clean and well maintained
  • Carry out daily meeting room checks, including cleanliness, setup, and equipment readiness
  • Perform morning building checks, including lighting and housekeeping standards
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post in a timely and organised manner
  • Log requests and issues via the helpdesk system and maintain a visible, approachable presence on site
