Yard Operative / Forklift

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our client’s team based in Portlethen, Aberdeen. This is a temporary, ad hoc role for approximately 4 weeks, offering consistent weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a B1 forklift safely and efficiently within the yard
• Assisting with general yard duties and maintaining a clean working environment
• Carrying out spray painting tasks within the paint bay
• Supporting loading and unloading of materials as required
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid B1 forklift licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a yard or similar industrial environment
• Experience with spray painting (preferred but not essential)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Good awareness of health & safety practices
