A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Harrow is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 for the Autumn Term.

The Role
You will take responsibility for a Year 1 class from September to December, covering a planned maternity leave.
The successful teacher will benefit from:

• Excellent classroom support where needed
The school is looking for a confident classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, deliver engaging lessons and support pupils transition from EYFS into KS1.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
• Demonstrate strong phonics and early reading knowledge
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Be organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively within a team
