Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lancaster to recruit a Year 1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team for at least one term, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

• Full-time Year 1 class teacher
• Start date: September 2026
• Duration: Minimum one term
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Support pupils through a key transition phase from EYFS into KS1

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management skills
• A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
• Commitment to supporting children's development and progress

• Paid to scale in line with Lancashire County Council (LCC) pay scales
• Opportunity to work in a supportive and well-regarded school
