SANZA Teaching is working with a lovely, 2 form entry school in Barnet borough that is recruiting for a Year 2 teacher to start in September.

The role will be for at least one academic year and there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent after that.

The Role:

Working in Year 2, you will be working with a great class which has made excellent progress in Year 1.

The behaviour in the class is good and there are some very able students in the class. There are two children with EHCPs (ADHD and ASD) who have a full-time assistant that will be moving into Year 2 with the class, so you will always have at least one additional adult in the class with you.

The school provides half a day per week for PPA and this is taken alongside the parallel class teacher, where you will plan together, share ideas and resources.

This 2 form entry school is oversubscribed and very popular locally.

The school has an established senior leadership team who offer great support and guidance to the team. Standards for learning and very high and there is a lot of support from home, from parents/carers who take an active role in their children's learning.

The school has excellent resources, including a sports field.

The Ideal Candidate:

This opportunity is open to experienced teachers and ECTs, ideally who have experience in Key Stage 1, especially Year 2. The school is able to offer ECT induction.

The Head is seeking a Year 2 teacher who is dynamic, enthusiastic and creative.
