Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Leeds

Qualiteach are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant role for a school within central Leeds. This position is start after the May half-term break.

The school itself is a dynamic primary school that has an excellent reputation across the city.

The school:

• Experienced Senior Leadership team
• 2 form entry setting
• Walking distance from Leeds City Centre 

Duties of the role: 

• Leading small group interventions

• Preparing resources  

• Creating displays 

• Supporting learners with Special Educational Needs 

• Managing behaviour within the classroom 

 What you will need:  

• A range of behaviour management techniques  

• To have worked with learners with a range of needs  

• The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods 

• Experience working within a primary school or nursery
