Are you a reliable Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting pupils in KS2? This full-time Year 4 role in Preston is a strong September opportunity for someone who can provide steady classroom support in the morning and targeted intervention support in the afternoon.

You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to help pupils stay focused, confident and on track across the school day. This role would suit someone organised, proactive and comfortable supporting both the wider class and smaller intervention groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting with:

  • General Year 4 classroom support in the morning
  • Targeted intervention support in the afternoon
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and confident
  • Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour
  • Working with individuals, small groups and the wider class
  • Following teacher guidance to support pupil progress

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…

  • Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or classroom support assistant
  • Are confident supporting pupils in KS2
  • Enjoy helping children make progress through focused support
  • Are organised, proactive and reliable
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
  • Are willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
