SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working exclusively with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for the new academic year.

This rewarding role will see you supporting pupils across two Year 4 classes, including providing targeted 1:1 support for a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Supporting learning across two engaging Year 4 classes

Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs

Working alongside experienced class teachers and the SENCO

Helping to implement personalised strategies that support learning, wellbeing, and positive behaviour

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally in Key Stage 2

Be confident supporting children with SEMH, SEND, or additional needs

Build strong and positive relationships with pupils

Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach

Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
