Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Sleaford area to recruit a dedicated Year 4 / Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils through Upper Key Stage 2, helping to develop both their academic progress and personal growth.

The Role

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for a mixed Year 4 / Year 5 class
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of every child
