Teach Now is working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Harrow seeking a talented Year 6 Teacher to join their Upper KS2 team on a part-time job share basis from September 2026.

About the Role
As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will work closely with your job-share partner and the wider KS2 team to deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that support pupils academically and emotionally during their transition to secondary school.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation while also creating a classroom environment where pupils feel confident, supported and inspired to succeed.
What Youll Be Doing
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
• Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and secondary school transition
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture with high expectations
• Work collaboratively with your job-share partner to ensure continuity in planning and assessment
• Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback to support achievement
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities
• Maintain excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 and SATs preparation
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
• The ability to plan engaging and structured lessons that motivate learners
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High expectations for pupil behaviour, progress and attainment
• A reflective and organised approach to teaching
