We are working with a well-regarded, 35-bedded nursing home in Hindhead to recruit a passionate and creative Activities Coordinator to join their friendly team.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (10:00am – 4:00pm) – No weekends

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour

About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of engaging, person-centred activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
You will play a key role in promoting social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a positive daily experience for residents within a warm and supportive care environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise, and deliver daily activities for residents

Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents

Adapt activities to suit individual needs, including those living with dementia

Work closely with care staff and management to support residents’ wellbeing

Organise group events, celebrations, and one-to-one activities
-
Maintain records of activities and resident engagement
Requirements
-
Previous experience in an activities, care, or similar role is desirable
-
A genuine passion for working with older people
-
Creative, enthusiastic, and patient approach
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
