Assembly Operatives - Production

Location: Chadderton, OL9

Salary: £13.15 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week | Rotating Shift Pattern 

Shifts & Breaks:

• 2-shift rotation: 6 am–2:10 pm / 2 pm–10:10 pm
• 1 x 35-minute meal break + 2 x 10-minute breaks per shift

We are currently recruiting for various roles, including  Assembly Operatives, to join a busy and growing production site based in Chadderton. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and prior experience in a production or machine operating environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of production machinery, including cutting, heat seaming, perforating, slitting, and stitching equipment.
• Pack, label, and store finished goods safely and accurately.
• Input production data and produce labels using computer systems.
• Inspect and quality-check products, isolating any non-conforming items.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and shift teams.
• Follow company processes and report any hazards or faults immediately.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and timekeeping.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work.
