Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an experienced Asset Compliance Analyst to support a major asset verification and data quality programme across a national property portfolio.
Job Overview
This role sits within a dedicated Asset Verification and Data Validation (AV/DV) team and is focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of building asset information across a large and complex estate. The successful candidate will play a critical role in reviewing, validating and quality assuring asset data so it is fit for operational, statutory and maintenance purposes.
This is a desk-based, analytical position and does not involve undertaking physical surveys. Instead, the role requires detailed interrogation of asset registers, survey outputs, floor plans and supporting technical documentation to ensure assets are correctly identified, classified and aligned with statutory maintenance and SFG20 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate incoming mechanical, electrical and building fabric asset data.
- Verify surveyed assets against existing client asset registers and maintenance records.
- Ensure building, floor and room data aligns with survey documentation and floor plans.
- Validate asset naming conventions, classifications and hierarchy structures.
- Confirm assets are correctly mapped to appropriate SFG20 maintenance schedules.
- Identify and resolve missing, duplicate or incorrectly categorised assets.
- Carry out detailed quality assurance checks across large volumes of technical data.
- Maintain accurate document control, audit trails and version management records.
Person Specification
Candidates will typically demonstrate experience or background in one or more of the following areas:
- Asset compliance management or facilities compliance
- Asset or lifecycle asset management
- CAFM system administration or management
- Building services or technical asset management
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing, validating or auditing building asset information
- Strong understanding of M&E systems and building fabric assets
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and planned maintenance principles
- Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo or Concept
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical, quality-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while managing large volumes of complex asset data
