Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager & Estimator will support the delivery of residential maintenance projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role combines estimating, coordination and site-based oversight, ensuring projects are organised, efficiently managed and completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to prepare quotes and schedule works
  • Plan, schedule and manage engineers’ daily workloads
  • Coordinate projects from initial client enquiry through to completion
  • Liaise with homeowners, tenants, landlords and managing agents
  • Handle client enquiries, requests and complaints in a professional manner
  • Attend site visits to assess works, scope projects and allocate resources
  • Maintain accurate organisation, documentation and project tracking
  • Ensure works are delivered on time and to required standards


Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or strong on-site residential experience
  • Background within the domestic and residential construction or maintenance sector
  • Solid understanding of on-site processes to accurately assess and plan works
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Confident working both in an office environment and on-site
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support engineers
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve issues effectively
  • Preference for candidates based locally to the area
  • Preference for candidates from a trade background
