Duties of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bodyshop, ensuring workflow efficiency and productivity
  • Bodyshop Managers Lead, manage, and motivate workshop control staff and technicians to maintain high-performance standards
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers to coordinate repairs and communication
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction throughout all repair processes
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise workshop profitability
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or Workshop Controller within a busy automotive environment
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, insurance companies, and team members
  • Sound understanding of body repair processes and workshop management systems
  • Full UK driving licence
