Building Controller/Technical Clerk -- SHIFTS

Our client, a leading entity within the nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Building Controller/Technical Clerk to join their team on Sellafield. This contract role entails working on a rolling shift pattern, ensuring seamless operations around the clock.
This is a rolling shift pattern - 4 x 12 hr days on, 4 days off, 4 x 12 hr nights on, 4 off
- 06:00 am to 06:00 pm - Days
- 06:00 pm to 06:00 am - Nights
Key Responsibilities:
As a Building Controller, your duties will include:
- Managing the Building Controller pager during shifts
- Opening and closing the building
- Signing in/out with the Contractors Control room
- Counting on-site personnel and relaying numbers
- Completing weekly and monthly exercises and associated paperwork
- Acting as Deputy during site emergencies and assisting with exercises
- Maintaining all necessary paperwork
- Counting and coordinating respirators
- Providing First Aid and acting as Fire Warden
For the Technical Clerk role, responsibilities include:
- Producing, controlling and maintaining Commissioning Life Time Records
- Copying, scanning and storing documents in the electronic document management system (EDMS)
- Retrieving files as requested by project personnel
- Performing other administrative duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience working within a Commissioning Document Control department
- Experience with Document Control through SharePoint/Convero preferred
- Understanding of SL document Control systems beneficial
- IOSH Working Safely certification
Desirable Qualifications:
- Building Controllers training course
- 2-day First Aid qualification
- Fire Warden training
