Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, you'll gain exposure to management accounting, financial reporting and wider commercial finance activities across a number of businesses. You'll be supported as you develop your knowledge, take on new responsibilities and build a broader understanding of finance in a commercial environment.

• Assisting with the preparation of month-end accounts
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Supporting VAT returns and financial reporting
• Posting journals and maintaining financial records
• Supporting process improvements and ad-hoc financial analysis
• Providing day-to-day support across the finance function

• Part-qualified ACCA, AAT qualified or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification
• Experience gained within accountancy practice or a finance role within an SME environment
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
