Building Control Inspector - Class 2D / 2E / 2F (Nationwide)



Overview

We are growing our Building Control division and are seeking experienced Building Control Inspectors across Class 2D, Class 2E, and Class 2F competency levels. Due to continued national expansion, we now have opportunities across the UK, supporting a broad range of domestic, commercial, and mixed‑use developments.

You will have the flexibility to work from any of our regional offices, supported by hybrid working arrangements and a culture that values autonomy, technical excellence, and wellbeing. For those who prefer a condensed schedule, a 4‑day working week is available, alongside flexible hours for individuals confident working independently.

For Class 2F, the salary is £70,000 per year, with the option to pro‑rata for a 4‑day week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections across a variety of project types

  • Assess compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation

  • Provide clear, professional advice to clients, contractors, and design teams

  • Produce accurate inspection reports and maintain regulatory records

  • Support continuous improvement and uphold high technical standards

  • Contribute to a positive team culture and knowledge‑sharing environment



About You

  • Relevant experience aligned to Class 2D / 2E / 2F competency levels

  • Strong technical understanding of Building Regulations

  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
