A highly reputable international freight forwarder based in West Yorkshire is seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to support its ongoing restructure and growth plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused freight professional looking to build a long-term career within a supportive business that offers a strong culture, experienced internal teams, and excellent career stability.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in West Yorkshire or the wider Northern region and will have strong experience in Air & Sea freight, with Road freight also considered an advantage. Bringing an existing client portfolio would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing new business opportunities across Air or Sea. 
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Supporting the company’s continued commercial growth

Requirements:

• Proven background in freight forwarding business development
• Strong knowledge of Air or Sea freight 
• Driven, ambitious and target-focused mindset
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
