Gold Education Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bishop’s Stortford area, currently seeking a passionate and inspiring Business Studies Teacher to join their successful department on a full-time maternity cover contract, starting September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to work with motivated students in a welcoming and forward-thinking environment. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to a thriving department, and support students in developing a strong understanding of business and enterprise.

Your Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Support students in developing commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Assess, track, and monitor progress, providing clear and meaningful feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Business Studies (or a related subject)
  • Experience teaching Business Studies in UK secondary schools
  • Ability to teach to KS5 (A-Level desirable)
  • A genuine passion for education and student success
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
  • A professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
