Carpenter (Fire Stopping)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Fire Stopping Engineers to join a major project across 16 sites in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a strong likelihood of extension or a permanent position.

The Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality fire stopping works and ensuring full compliance with industry standards and specifications across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing fire stopping systems in line with regulations and specifications
• Completing detailed fire stopping reports, including:
  • Before and after photographs
  • Penetration drawings
• Identifying correct fire stopping products for each application
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and fully compliant

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Passive Fire Protection or similar
• Proven experience in fire stopping installations
• Strong knowledge of fire stopping products and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Own tools and transport preferred
