You’ll be supporting kitchen and bathroom programmes across areas including Wednesfield, Bilston, and surrounding locations. Due to manufacturer changes and delayed materials, attention to detail is critical in this role, making it ideal for an experienced Finisher Operative with strong carpentry knowledge and social housing experience.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Finisher Operative, Snagging Operative, Multi Trade Operative, Kitchen Fitter, or Carpenter within social housing or domestic maintenance environments.
As a Carpenter you will be:
- Completing kitchen and bathroom snagging works across occupied properties
- Fitting missing kitchen items due to manufacturer changes from Moores to Wren
- Adjusting kitchen doors and drawers to ensure a high-quality finish
- Fitting wall units, base units, worktop sections, and kickboards where required
- Carrying out silicone sealing around worktops and flooring areas
- Completing boxing-in works and ceiling making-good tasks
- Delivering second-fix and finishing works to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed right first time
- Previous experience as a Carpenter or within snagging works
- Strong carpentry and second-fix experience
- Experience working within social housing or domestic properties
- A valid CSCS card
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Immediate start available

- Monday to Friday working hours
- Site support from the Contracts Manager to walk through standards and specifications
- Day rate of £180
Location & travel
This role is based across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas including Wednesfield and Bilston. The area offers excellent road links via the M6, M54, and A449, making travel between properties straightforward.
