What you'll be doing
As Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your section and play a key role in delivering consistently high standards:
- Prepare and cook dishes to recipe specifications and presentation standards
- Ensure ingredients are prepared and available for service
- Monitor quality, flavour, and consistency of all dishes leaving your section
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and food safety standards
- Support stock control and minimise waste
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Help maintain kitchen standards in the absence of senior chefs
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong line chef within a quality fresh-food kitchen
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen procedures
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for fresh food and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
