We are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Oldbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory experience or a recent science graduate looking to begin their career within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix chemicals in line with established procedures.
• Prepare samples and formulations for testing and production purposes.
• Follow laboratory methods and quality procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Assist with product development, testing, and formulation activities where required.
• Monitor and manage laboratory stock levels and consumables.

About You

• Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• A qualification or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, Laboratory Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of laboratory health and safety practices.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and established procedures.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
