Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Salary: £30,272.70 to £34,275 ( inclusive of sleep in's )

Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team in Bridgewater. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people aged 8-18 who display emotional and behavioural difficulties. As a Residential Support Worker, you will work alongside a passionate team to provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for young people facing various challenges. Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in residential settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and behavioural management.
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards of care.
• Follow care plans and contribute to the development of individualised support strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care and activities.
• Participate in rota shifts, including long days and sleep-ins, to provide 24/7 support.

Requirements:

• Motivated, determined, and resilient attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt to challenging situations.
• Previous experience in childcare or residential support is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to undertake vocational qualifications supported by the employer.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Driving Licence essential
• Must be aged 21+
