Registered Manager (Childrens home)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + up to £7,000 bonus

About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a beautiful 3-bed children’s home set in a rural location near Shrewsbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, therapeutic organisation committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance and care in line with Ofsted regulations. You will lead, support and develop a dedicated team, creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall management of the children’s home
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Provide strong, supportive leadership to staff
• Promote a therapeutic and child-centred approach to care
• Oversee care planning, quality assurance and service development
• Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting
• Work closely with external professionals and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy ready to step up
• Knowledgeable in children’s homes regulations and Ofsted requirements
• A confident and proven leader with strong team development skills
• Passionate about therapeutic care and improving young lives
• Holding (or working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
