The Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Planner to join a growing team based in the North East. The role will combine supporting tenders and pre-construction activities, developing robust programmes and planning strategies, alongside providing planning oversight throughout project delivery.

Projects typically range up to £40m-£50m in value and include civil engineering infrastructure, bridges and foundations for major renewable energy developments. This is primarily an office-based position with travel requirements averaging one overnight stay per week (fully covered financially).

Experience Required

• Proven experience in a Construction Planner role within a main contracting environment.
• Strong background in tender planning, pre-construction and operational project delivery.
• Experience working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent programme development, sequencing and project controls knowledge.
• Forward-thinking approach with strong commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to strategic project success.
