EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

- Circa £16 per hour + Shift Premium (up to 75%)
- Various shifts available:
- Days with early finish Fridays
- Weekend Days (Friday to Sunday 6am - 6pm)
- Weekend Nights (Friday to Sunday 6pm - 6am)
- Days/Nights Rotation ( Day Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7am-4pm, Friday, 7am – 12pm / Night Shift: Monday – Wednesday, 8pm – 6am, Thursday, 8pm – 5am)
- Contnentals
- Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)
- Quarterly bonus

Your responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating multi-axis CNC Milling machines
- Machining small to medium-sized complex parts using various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, and many more!
- Machining to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist - Milling
- Experience in setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines
- Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Siemens control panels
- Previous experience in machining complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil and gas etc
- Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
- Experience with machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to medium-sized components
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
