Commutable from Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and surroundings. 

Salary up to £42,000 per annum

Day Shift – Permanent

Do you have experience working within precision machining and high-quality solutions, from either aerospace or subcontracting industries.

Are you looking for experienced hands on supervisors with knowledge in milling to deliver critical work to a variety of clients and suppliers.

What you will be doing:

• Operating and setting up CNC Milling machines
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls
• Daily maintenance and inspections on machinery
• Ensure all work completed on shop floor
• Working within a team to support orders
• Minimising downtime and monitoring productivity
• Assisting with continuous improvement
• Working with all departments for shift changeover

Skills Experience

• Proven CNC experience
• Knowledge ideally with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens but not essential
• Able to use measuring equipment for quality checking
• Capable of supervising a busy shop floor and meeting targets. 
• CAD software experience for offline programming
• Able to follow health and safety
• Able to read engineering drawings
