We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with strong milling experience to join a precision engineering environment. This role is ideal for a skilled individual who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating manual milling machines to produce high-precision components
- Setting up and adjusting machinery and tooling where required
- Monitoring machining processes to ensure parts meet specification
- Carrying out in-process inspection using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- Making manual adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and accuracy
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Ensuring machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working area
- Adhering to all health & safety and quality procedures
