About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team based in our London office in Chingford. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all workforce compliance requirements are met and maintained across our construction, civils, rail, and infrastructure operations.
Previous compliance experience within construction, rail, recruitment, or a related sector would be highly desirable. Experience with Sentinel, RISQS, and workforce compliance systems would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities

Managing the end-to-end compliance process for candidates and operatives.

Verifying and maintaining workforce records, including right-to-work documentation, qualifications, certifications, medicals, and competency records.

Ensuring all worker files are fully compliant prior to deployment.

Monitoring expiry dates and proactively managing renewals for training, certifications, Sentinel competencies, and medical records.

Conducting regular compliance audits and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records.

Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring all required documentation is completed and stored correctly.

Maintaining Sentinel records and assisting with Sentinel sponsorship and administration where applicable.

Supporting client-specific compliance requirements and ensuring workforce records meet contractual obligations.

Producing compliance reports and management information as required.

Liaising with candidates, operatives, training providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to obtain outstanding documentation.

Supporting external audits and ensuring documentation is readily available for review.

Identifying opportunities to improve compliance processes and systems.

Assisting with GDPR compliance and ensuring sensitive information is handled securely and confidentially.

Supporting wider business administration and compliance-related projects as required.
