Contract Manager – DTD Repairs opportunity available in North London, leading a high-profile social housing repairs contract across a large residential portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced repairs professional looking to join a well-established contractor delivering reactive maintenance services across some of North London’s largest housing estates and regeneration areas.

The Role

Working as Contract Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of day-to-day repairs and reactive maintenance services across North London, managing operational performance, commercial delivery, client relationships and workforce management within a fast-paced social housing environment.

The role is based from a Kings Cross office, with regular travel required across occupied residential sites throughout Islington, Camden, Barnet, Hackney, Haringey, Colindale including the major Grahame Park regeneration, Woodberry Down, Kentish Town, West Hampstead and Finsbury Park.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading day-to-day repairs operations across a busy North London social housing portfolio, ensuring high-quality reactive maintenance delivery
  • Managing supervisors, operatives, administrators and subcontractors across multiple occupied residential sites throughout North London
  • Driving KPI and SLA performance, ensuring repairs are completed on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
  • Overseeing commercial performance including Schedule of Rates (SOR) management and cost control
  • Managing client, resident and stakeholder relationships across housing estates, regeneration schemes and occupied properties throughout North London
  • Supporting service improvement initiatives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction across all sites

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager within social housing repairs, maintenance or reactive works
  • Strong leadership experience managing direct labour and subcontractor teams
  • Good commercial understanding including SOR and contract performance management
  • Track record delivering KPI/SLA targets within a fast-paced repairs environment
  • Experience working within occupied social housing properties preferred
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across North London sites
