Contracts Manager - Insurance Reinstatement
An established and growing property restoration and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of insurance reinstatement and refurbishment projects across the Midlands and surrounding regions.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + van + package

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware construction professional with a proven track record in managing insurance-funded repair works. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from instruction through to completion, ensuring exceptional standards of quality, customer service, programme delivery, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of insurance reinstatement and refurbishment projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review, prepare, and validate scopes of work and project valuations using industry-standard estimating platforms, including CoreLogic and Xactimate.
- Act as the primary point of contact for insurers, loss adjusters, surveyors, policyholders, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and performance management.
- Monitor project progress, financial performance, and contractual obligations, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to ensure compliance with company standards and health and safety legislation.
- Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
- Maintain a strong customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience for all clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Significant experience in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or similar operational management role within insurance reinstatement, refurbishment, repairs, or construction.
- Strong understanding of the insurance claims process and property reinstatement sector.
- Practical experience using CoreLogic, Xactimate, or comparable estimating and pricing software.
- Excellent commercial acumen, including cost control, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage multiple teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- HNC, HND, Degree, or professional qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Experience working directly with insurers, loss adjusters, and loss management companies.
- Knowledge of both residential and commercial property reinstatement projects.
