Credit Controller (Maternity Cover)
Location: Halifax
Hours: Part-time, 16–20 hours per week (4 days, flexible)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established business on a maternity cover basis. This is a fully office-based role within a small, supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing credit control processes in line with company policy
  • Allocating and reconciling cash and sales ledger accounts
  • Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts (GBP, USD, EUR)
  • Setting up new customer accounts, including credit checks and terms
  • Chasing outstanding debt and resolving customer queries
  • Maintaining accurate records for audit and compliance purposes

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Competent in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) advantageous
