Temporary Customer Liaison Officer
Location: South Yorkshire & surrounding areas (including Doncaster, Rotherham, Hull, Leeds, and Halifax)
Contract: Temporary (until 30 June 2026)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Start Date: Immediate start available
We are seeking a proactive and resilient Customer Liaison Officer to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across multiple locations, supporting customers and stakeholders through a variety of situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Manage and resolve sensitive or complex situations with professionalism and empathy
- Liaise between customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Microsoft Office tools
- Support the delivery of projects by keeping customers informed and engaged
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar customer-facing or liaison role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations
- Resilience and confident negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed at 12p per mile)
Desirable:
- Experience working within a regulated or customer-focused service environment
