Customer Operations Manager
Sheffield | £40,000 – £50,000 | Full Time | Office Based | Monday–Friday
We are recruiting for a well-established commercial retail business in Sheffield looking to appoint an experienced Customer Operations Manager to become the operational heartbeat of the company.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll coordinate people, schedules, logistics and customer communication to ensure the business runs smoothly day to day.
You’ll act as the central point of contact between internal sales teams, warehouse operations, subcontractors and customers - resolving issues quickly, managing priorities and keeping projects on track.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys problem solving and can confidently manage multiple moving parts at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating operational schedules and logistics
- Managing subcontractors and daily workloads
- Liaising with internal departments and customers
- Resolving issues and complaints efficiently
- Organising deliveries and installations
- Managing aftersales processes and customer communication
- Ensuring deadlines and service standards are met
- Supporting smooth day-to-day business operations
- Occasional customer site visits where required

- Highly organised and proactive
- Resilient and confident under pressure
- A strong communicator
- Commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Able to manage multiple priorities at pace
- Comfortable dealing with challenging situations and personalities
- Professional, dependable and adaptable
- A driving licence would also be beneficial due to occasional site visits.
