Customer Service Administrator

Our client, a well-established utilities business based in Redhill, is looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly and close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a graduate looking to kick-start their career or an experienced/customer service professional seeking a varied & rewarding office-based role. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers via telephone & email 

  • Managing incoming enquiries & directing them to the appropriate department

  • Supporting the onboarding of new customers & setting up new subscriptions/accounts 

  • Processing customer payments over the phone

  • Assisting customers with account setup, pre-payment arrangements & general account queries

  • Maintaining accurate customer records & updating internal systems

  • Providing general administrative support across the business 

 
About you:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

  • Confident & professional telephone manner

  • Strong IT skills, including MS & database systems

  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle is essential 

 
The Package:
  • Salary of £28,000pa 

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm 

  • 25 days holiday + BH
