The Role
Our Customer Service team plays a key role in supporting customers and intermediaries throughout the equity‑release journey.
As a Customer Service Agent, you'll deliver a high‑quality experience across inbound and outbound communications. You'll support with enquiries, technical questions and post‑completion mortgage administration, helping ensure every interaction is handled professionally and in line with agreed standards.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in financial services within a supportive, growing organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling inbound and outbound calls from intermediaries and customers
- Responding to queries via phone, email and written correspondence
- Supporting intermediaries with technical enquiries, including product criteria, KFI creation and case updates
- Managing post‑completion mortgage administration
- Ensuring all interactions meet agreed service levels, policies and compliance requirements
- Providing a positive, professional and responsive service at all times
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a telephone‑based customer service environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and positive approach to handling customer queries
- Experience within financial services or mortgage administration is beneficial but not essential
- Good IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word (Excel and Adobe desirable)
Working Pattern & Reward
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Fully onsite role based in Preston
- Salary: £26,090 per annum
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days with length of service
